And a totally different take on the pants/dress hybrid is Maggie Gyllenhaal in sequinned Monse.
Former Mad Men co-star, Alison Brie also successfully does the ball gown to pants scroll down, in dramatic Vassilis Zoulias. What I really love about this look is how it is so Christina Hendricks (that velvet bodice), but then it swerves in an unexpected direction. Good Girls is on my most anticipated list of the new 2018 shows, Christina Hendricks was on hand to promote this show and also work the surprise pants courtesy of Christian Siriano. Plus, pockets! Surprise pants were a repeated theme of the night including nominee Laurie Metcalf in a fabulous Sachin & Babi ensemble. A super sequin Monsoori jumpsuit is a knockout choice. And to Brown’s onscreen wife, Susan Kelechi Watson. Brown in a velvet Isaia tux looks fabulous, but wife Ryan Michelle Bathe steals the show in another great ladysuit this one is by Dolce & Gabbana. Golden Globe winner (that sure feels good to type) Sterling K. The bold red lip adds to the impact and it certainly looks like Foy has shed Elizabeth for Lisbeth. Claire Foy gives off so much DGAF attitude in slouchy Stella McCartney. My favorite outfit of the night was in no big shock news, a ladysuit.
